Saw V (simply referred to as V in marketing) is the upcoming fifth installment in the Saw film series. The film is set to be released on October 24, 2008.[2] Unlike the previous three installments, Saw V will not be directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, but instead by David Hackl,[3] who was the production designer of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV.

I am a HUGE fan of the Saw series, though Saw going up to 6 movies is abit excessive, I'd still go and watch this to see what interesting traps they have set up this time!

Same to an extent. I only watch when my friends bring over a horror movie or force me to a theatre with them.

i liked the first 2. from then on, i really started to dislike the series. and without jigsaw, i dont know how exactly good saw can be.

Jigsaw's spirit still lives on! But yeah I have to agree with that one... he died too early . But I have a feeling all this is just a buildup to a greater more twisted plan .

well in truth, it is quite gory. but what you dont realize about this film is that its actually more of a mystery film. thats what i enjoy about it. theres always a plot twist at the end of each film.

That is a very messed up concept, but I admire the creativity of the crew, even if it does revolve around a very dodgy story.
